History - Born and raised in Ecroteak City by his father. His Umbreon (as an Eevee) was given to him by his father, who's Espeon had given birth to the small pokemon. The Burned Tower became the Burned Tower when his father was teaching him to battle there. Someone or some pokemon started a fire that would end up taking Shadow's father and Espeon's life, leaving him alone with Eevee. The event traumatized him to the point where flashbacks were too strong, and he ventured to Ceirta to start a new life. After making his way throughout the towns, Eevee evolved into Umbreon, and Shadow found himself in Paera City. He took a small canoe out onto the ocean and by the third day he had found an island. There, he established a cave, and a place to call his own. He trained Umbreon for years against the inhabitants of his cave.
He decided to wander Ceirta for a while, trying to find something less boring then the cave. He was on a ship when a violent storm came and it was calmed by a Lugia, which was his dream pokemon. After a long, dangerous, and almost death-inducing battle, he caught the beast. He returned to his cave to train Lugia for a while, and has yet to use him in a battle. Lugia, little does Shadow know, accedently started the fire that killed his father.
Umbreon is still recovering a bit from the battle, and he now likes to sit by the waterfall and battle against the inhabiting Kingdra while Shadow trains Lugia at various places around the island.
